1. Astronauts sometimes train underwater to stimulate conditions in space. Explain why.

4. In testing a new material for shielding spacecraft, 150 ball bearings each moving at a supersonic speed of 400.0 m/s collide head-on and elastically with the material during a 1,00 min interval. If the ball bearings each have a mass of 8.0 g and the area of the tested material if 0.75 m^2, what is the pressure exerted on the material?
1- Due to the upthrust of water, any object immersed in it experiences weightlessness. So, to simulate weightlessness, astronauts train underwater.
2- No change. Objects float on water because water exerts an equal upward force equal to the "weight" of water replaced by placing that object in water. If the weight of the object doubles by doubling the force of gravity, then the "weight" of water also doubles. So, it doesn't affect the ability of objects to float on the water surface.

Where can I find a 1946 Ford Pickup wire harness?
Yes they do have wire harness. I have a 1946 Ford Pickup in very good condition. I am trying to replace the wire harness because it is worn out. However I can not find any. I have looked on many websites including bobdrakes.com and macsautoparts.com. Have any suggestions? Help? Happen to have one?
just repair what u have,it would be hard to find what u want for the year model veicle.just go over it inch by inch by inch.just use all proper tools and u should be good to go.be lucky it aint a wiring harness on one of these newer vehicles.then that would be hell to go threw.

In your opinion, when should large drafts be started under saddle and harness?
I know they mature much slower than average sized horses. I was thinking 3-4 with very light work until I know the plates are closed for sure.
I've already read a bunch of peoples opinions - just looking for more.
I don't know anything about when to start harness. Barns here start super early but it seems like it'd be hard on their joints.
Yes the barns here start theirs at 1 1/2. It just seemed young just wondering.
I think starting a horse to ground drive can be done as early as 2 years old. If you are going to have them pull a forecart or something like a sled, probably wait until 3 years. I like to have a draft saddle trained before really asking them to do much in harness since it is so much easier to teach "get up" and "whoa" when you're on their back. So 3 years is the age to start light riding. I've never had any problems and I wouldn't do anything to hurt my horses. I think it's a bit ridiculous to wait to train a horse until they are 5 years old??? I mean come on. They are more than ready at 3 unless you are going to totally kill them and have them pull timber for 12 hours a day. Hope this helps. BTW, I've trained 2 light horses to drive, and 2 draft horses to drive.
