Can anyone recommend some great rock climbing/hiking gloves?
I have discovered a love or hiking and many of my recent hikes have been where rock slides have occurred. I’m looking for a great pair of gloves to help prevent my palms from getting cut up. Please include a link if possible! Thanks!
What you are describing is called scrambling its hiking while climbing over rocks using you hands and feet. The first link is about scrambling and safety etc. They dont make scrambling gloves per say but any leather glove would do. Anything from leather construction gloves to fitted belay gloves. The second link shows gloves that would be suitable for scrambling. Have fun be safe!

thats stupid. SO many more people drive compared to those that do those sports, by numbers of accidents ALONE the data will be skewed. you need to make sure the data is correlated to include RELEVANT risk/etc

Bull Riding - How to "Take a Wrap"
Does anyone know what a Texas bull rope match is in wrestling?
Texas Bullrope Match
In a Texas Bullrope Match, two wrestlers are placed on opposite ends of a restraint - in this case, a rope. The restraint, and anything tied to it, can be used as a legal weapon. Because the restraint can be used as a way to choke the opposing wrestler, submissions are typically not permitted. A disqualification occurs if either wrestler frees themselves from the restraint before the match is won.
There are often two ways to win: pinfall is permitted, or alternately, the first to touch all four top turnbuckles in succession wins.
The restraint used in a Texas Bullrope Match is a rope that typically has a cowbell in the middle. If another restraint is used, the match typically takes the name of the restraint - for example, the use of a leather strap as a restraint will give rise to the Indian Strap Match. Other names include:
Dog Collar Match:
This is where chains are used and are strapped to the necks of both wrestlers. Often the signature of wrestlers with canine-related gimmicks.
Russian Strap Match:
The wrestlers are chained but not by the neck
Short Leash:
The wrestlers are connected by a one to two foot "leash". The only way to win is by knockout or submission.
Strap Match:
In thie variation ordinary belts are used.

i was rock climbing the other day and my amp fell and spilled a little onto my climbing rope on to a small section. i know the rope is water proof but will the soda weaken the rope?
