Learn To Rock Climb
Is rock climbing a good cardio exercise?
I am interested in joining the rock climbing team at my school this winter. Normally, I am a basketball player, but my size has always impeded my performance. As a result, I'm rather new to rock climbing and would like to learn more before I commit. Thanks.
You need to work on your cardio before hand so that you can breath easier while you're climbing. That's my experience. Running, hiking, hill climbing, stairs are great for training too. If you don't have want a gym I'd get a chin up bar for your house like I did (from Walmart).
Try some aerobic too or something similar. It helps with flexibility and movement.
You'll have to find some balance exercises too (very important).
Climbing helps with resistance, muscle building, endurance, etc.

What pokemon can learn these HMs?
I play pokemon platinum and i want to know what pokemon can learn these HMs.
My bibarel knows surf, rock smash and cut. My staravia knows fly.
I might teach strength or waterfall to my bubarel when i get it.
So i need a pokemon that can learn:
Strength, defog , rock climb
OR
Waterfall , defog and rock climb
I want a single pokemon that can learn those moves.
and i just beat the water gym and i am at celestic town.

Oh and where do you find the mmove delete guy and where do you find aerodactyl? underground? if so where underground do you find aerodactyl? i'm a noob.
I also don't have any gba pokemon games if you were going to say that.

Strength, defog, and rock SMASH can be learned by areodactyl; and bibarel can learn rock climb so see the move delete guy.

Rock Climbing Bouldering
Building a rock climbing bouldering cave in my backyard?
I have an area in my back yard that would be perfect for a bouldering cave. It is about 20 feet by 20 feet (probably a little more). I was just wondering what are some tips on building one in my back yard? also I live in texas, would heat be an issue with the construction?
I build one last summer and I live in Florida and heat han't been an issue so far...
Best tips:
- use pressure treated wood so the humidity wont rot them
- paint all the wood to further protect it from the weather
- set at least on or two of the supports in concrete (you can buy a bag of concrete mix at a home improvment store)
- look on craigs list / online for good deals on holds (I got 110 holds for $200)

Indoor Rock Climbing Techniques : How to Fall when the Lead in Indoor Rock Climbing
Nothing like rock climbing for a different take on life
It can be so exciting, riveting even – clinging to a rock face, watching your footing and carefully choosing where to hang on, where to reach for next and with just some rope to save you should you make a wrong move. Rock climbing is something that once you get into it you can't help but continually bigger and bigger goals for yourself. Alteus et latius: higher and wider.
What to do and where to go if you've never done any rock climbing before? As with most dangerous things in life: ask the experts, get the right training and gear up properly, then take things gradually as you get fitter and stronger, ready for the next challenge. And one of the best places in South Africa to get a good introduction to rock climbing is CityRock, the Indoor Climbing Gym in Observatory, Cape Town: large climbing wall, huge bouldering cave, big top rope and lead climbing area, a rock climbing gear shop second to none.
For the uninitiated, bouldering is a kind of rock climbing but done just three or four metres above the ground.
