Is it a bad idea to have a large mouse pad underneath my laptop?
I bought a large laptop at frys last week but it was huge and my girlfriend had just bought me a standard sized one. I didn't want to return it so I figured that I just put it underneath my laptop so that the underside doesn't get dirty or scratched. My cousin said this wasn't a good idea because it would make the laptop overheat faster. It does feel a little warmer after an hour but is that true? The large mouse pad is made of that typical mouse pad material if it helps.
Your cousin is right - blocking the ventilation holes on the laptop will cause it to overheat quicker - it won't destroy it quickly, rather it will degrade the life of the components. People have there laptops on their laps, you might say, and yes, you can have it on your lap, because you won't have it there for long enough for it to be a problem, and your legs don't cover the same area as the mouse pad.

How much does it cost to enter the Blakfyre games (in Utah) Yu-gi-oh regional tournament?
I am wondering how much does it cost to enter?
and I am also wondering how to get the nice yu-gi-oh mat? that has the same materials of a mouse pad.
i say about 25 dollars. but bring three or four more twenty just in case when you get back home you will have extra cash . take care by going there. hope you win. one day maybe we will meet and you will get to play me a retired experienced yugi-oh deck .

ok so I am getting the snake a smaller mouse or two but I can't seem to get the temp in his tank right. I have 2 over head moonlights on the warm side and an under tank heat pad on the warm side and it's in the low 70s. Do I need a thermostat to get the heat mat warmer? A higher watt moonlight? I have a hide at each end now and the water bowl is toward the cool side. I read something about a ceramic heater. Would that help?
You should get a daylight also and keep it on the warm side. Repti-glo are good lights. How many watts depends on how big your tank is. I have a heat lamp and a moon lamp for my snake and her tank stay at about 95 to 100 degrees in the day and about 75 to 80 at night(I leave the moon lamp on 24/7 and turn the day light on when the sun is out). I also put the water dish under the lights in moon light(which I keep in the middle of the tank) to keep the humidity up.
Do Not get a heat rock or ceramic heater to put in the tank, these are dangerous. Reptiles are cold blooded and do not realize when they are getting too hot therefor they stay on the hot heat rock and end up singeing their bellies.

Why wont my mouse works on my Mousepad?
So I own a "Steelseries warcraft mouse" Is a shinny laser mouse, It works on my desk, I bough it a cool LED mousepad (read, cheap from ebay, it goes by the name of "USB Light Mat Mouse Pad + 4 Ports Hub UK Seller" if you want to look for a picture.
Why is it that the mouse wont work on the mousepad?, obviously it must have to do with the material the mousepad is made, since the mouse works perfectly fine without it, for future references, what kind of base should I look when looking for mousepads for Laser Mouses?
You are correct, the laser is being reflected incorrectly by the material of the mousepad...For laser mice look for a dull, non glossy finish on your mouse pads
