Triple Lock
I actually have a HEADACHE trying to figure out my new bike lock... A little help please?
The lock I have is a (pink) bike combo lock. Five feet, triple braided. It's a Master Lock bike lock, and the way it came is kinda springy. It advertises Pacific Cycle on the back. Directions are: Turn dials to 0000 and pull out A of B. (done) Hold B towards me, (done) and rotate counter clockwise until it stops. (It never does.) Set dials to your combo (TURN WHICH WAY TO SET THOUGH?? THAT'S QUESTION #1.) Rotate clockwise until they stop (again, never do). Check combo set at line (after it stops, I'm assuming) and it should be your code.
So, I've given myself a headache trying to figure it out, but it hasn't worked for me. For some reason, it sets only the first number to what THEY want, then the rest is the generic 000. For example, it's somehow set to 3000. Not the safest code!!
Anyone think they have the same lock as me, or a similar one, and can help me?

Do you have to lubricate a hitch ball or coupler when towing?
We got back from a short camping trip and my trailer coupler had ceased onto the ball and it was really hard to get it off. The coupler lock had done some gouging in the ball when it was all said and done.
We had just bought this new ball to accomodate our new van and I didn't know if I was supposed to lubricate the ball or if I just need to loosen up the coupler locking mechanism to make the problem not happen in the future.

If the ball is the recomended size (should be stamped on the trailer side of the hitch) the problem is with the latch portion of the hitch not the ball. It should be lubed and worked in and out a few timed with a spray lubricant. Unlike a semi-truck or fifth wheel hitch, you do not actually lube the ball and hitch connection. there is not the same ammount of forces or friction involved.
Your hitch has been sitting for a while and just gotten a little rusty on the ltach part.

Ok, ill keep it short..
i dream of traveling through a canal on a barge.
i come to a canal lock gate thing.
my boat pases through the first gate but i have trouble opening the next.
im now stuck between the first and last gate.
im trying to figure out how to open the gates by releasing water in and out throught the gates.
i got the rest kinda interpreted...

Screw Key Lock
Screwing up a lock by putting in wrong key?
Well im wondering if you put the wrong keys into a lock constantly and trying to open it, will it mess up the lock? I want to open up my dads car truck to get some sodas but im not sure which key is the correct one. Im sacred that if i try them all they will somehow mess up the lock or something so that eventually not even the right key will open the trunk....=l i want some soda....One time i stuck like a paperclip into a keyhole and messed up the lock and i couldnt open the lock again even with the correct key...ever since ive been very paranoid about this. So my question: Can constantly trying to open a lock with incorrect keys mess up the lock inside?
It's not likely, but it can happen, usually like the next comment.
What could be worse happens often, you use one that trys to work, and it gets stuck in the ignition, some times they break off.
When that happens, you call the locksmith to pull the steering column.
Dad may be peeved.

Can I purchase replacement screws that are 1 way for my faultless doubledead bolt lock?
Many double deadbolt locks use one way screws. Arrow brand screws are covered by a shutter and are only accessible by turning the proper key in the lock. Schlage uses a pop in cap to make the screw slots useless.
Also if the screws are one way, how do I remove the lock from the door later, some I believe use a special tool.
Where can I purchase these oneway screws and how do you remove them later for installation in rentals?
You can purchase it from shops sales bolts , screws , locks ...etct.
To remove it , use special screw driver if available , if not make straight groove for normal screw driver then get it out
