i am buying a 04 roush mustang gt 40th av with underdrive pulleys and fipk kit what kind of hp should i get?
i just think it was a roush kit put on it but it had a 40th anniversary thing put on side he said he put fuel injection performance kit plus underdrive pulleys what should that car get horsepower wise and torque.....also do you think 6000 for this car is good it has 104000 and how many miles do you think this car would get hopefully over 200000
by "roush kit" do you mean a stage 1 roush, which is basically bodykit and some suspension work

or are you speaking of the more powerful stage 3 version with a supercharger??
the intake system and underdrive pulleys will add a few HP at the crank, nothing at the wheels, so if you are speaking of a stage 1 roush - basically your engine rating will be the same as a stock GT
(about 260hp at the crank and about 240-245 at the wheels).
price seems fine, but you should have it ck'd over by a pro-shop, suspension, spark and compression test.
these are strong engines and if looked after, and regularly serviced and repaired they last a long time......but you have to know with this mileage you will be looking at the need to replace parts on a regular basis (clutch, pumps, brakes, shocks, bushings, ball joints, tie rods, seals, bearings, etc etc)........just like any other car.
