Cord Rope
Where can I find earphones with a cord like a rope?
I've gone through 3 pairs of earphones in the past 2 months, but my friend has some that have, instead of a cord, a rope... Still like a cord, but instead of a plastic casing, a ropey casing. Please give any suggestions.
((I use them for my computer, ipod, nintendo ds, and other things,I think it's a size 3 earphone))
Apparently he brought them at a Bond and Bond store in New Zealand... xD
I think they might be outdated, so I will change the question a little,
where can I find CHEAP and durable earphones?
If you just want durable cheap headphones, I recommend the JVC marshmallow, or gummy headphones. The cord is quite strong, and they are very reasonably priced.
If you really want the Rope style, The Microsoft Zune premium headphones are a good one to look at.

Are ropes a must-have for rock climbing?
Are there any drawbacks to using bungee cord?
Ur dumb NO BUNGEE. Pay for real rope. Real rope does flex but bungee stretches up to 75% of its lenght so a 50 foot bungee will stretch to about an extra 30 feet. Not to mention it will be hard for a beleyaer to belay bungee and bungee is eiser to cut so if i scrapes a rock it snaps. AND bungee may not hold 100+ lbs.

Climbing Rope Facts Revealed for The Benefit of All Arborists
The climbing rope comes in a myriad range of options like the base material used, its durability, braids used and colors etc. that is designed as per the requirements of its different users. Most of the manufacturers that make climbing ropes have different color combinations to represent its many different characteristics. Bright colors are usually preferred over the lighter ones as they offer better visibility in any working condition.
Among the most popular materials used in the making of these include that of a braided Polyester cover and parallel core. A quality rope used for climbing should be firm yet flexible for the ultimate convenience of the user, it should be able to holds knots such a Blake's Hitch very well.
A good quality climbing rope also does not require milking as very high technology is used in its manufacture. This is because extensive testing has not produced any need for milking without compromising the climbing features, knot holding capacity or safety of the quality climbing rope. In fact, a manufacturer that offers genuine rope varieties for the arborists take care to get them thoroughly inspected right from the yarn selection process to final packaging.
It is extremely necessary for an arborist to test the quality of the climbing rope which he/she intends to use, as a lot depends on their performance level and safety of this tool. An arborists use the climbing rope to maneuver into the tree that needs trimming, as well as to move around in the tree. As these ropes are their lifeline, an arborist should take extra care to use only quality ropes that can accommodate the required knots and splices whenever and wherever necessary. does anybody have tips for artificial wall climbing?
I really want to get better at climbing, and I can climb all the walls at our the climbing gym. the instructor put me in the adult beginniner class, but I really want to get into adult intermediate, so if you have any tips, that would be great.

You can climb all the walls? Then what is there to do in adult intermediate??
But yeah to get better at climbing, one key is practice. This will help your technique and your strength.
Key areas to focus on with technique are
Balance - for instance, when you reach up to a hold with your left hand, be pushing up with your right foot and vice versa (or whenever possible anyway). Also keep your weight either central or over the pushing leg, and as close to the wall as possible (on vertical walls. on overhanging walls, you want to have your arms straight at all times, locked off, so you don't use any muscular strength in your arms and shoulders to hold on).
Stepping up techniques - things like rocking over, where you put one of your feet really high, and then use that as a pivot to get up high, or mantelling where your feet have to get the same point as your hands
Efficient use of holds - you don't want to tire yourself out by often having to swap feet and hands, so think about what you're doing as you go along.
With strength there are a few exercises you can do. if you have a campus board, fingerboard, or just chin up bar, one good exercise I've found (especially for leading) is pull up completely so your chin is level with your hands, hold for five seconds then lower slowly, then pull up so your arms are at ninety degrees and hold for five seconds, then lower, then pull up so your arms are slightly bent and hold for five seconds, then gently lower, and repeat.
Another one that may be good is dead hanging, just see how long you can hold on for.
You can do this with increasingly smaller holds to improve your finger strength, but don't rush in cos you don't want to damage your joints and ligaments.
One word on fingers, try not to crimp as much as possible. Crimping is when the top joint of your finger is hyperextended, and the joint goes up (and then down at the next joint). Try and keep your fingers as open as possible (i.e. nice and curved round, like a gentle C, i.e. try not to have your knuckles at the same height as your fingertips). This greatly increases your finger strength, and means when you do have to crimp you have even greater strength (crimping gives you good grip because of the mechanical advantage it gives you, but is bad for the joints). Also when you're slapping for holds just out of reach you always use open fingers so crimp strength is useless there.

....... feet per minutes decline (so at FL100 you maybe climb with 3000 fpm, but at FL300 you just climb with 1500 fpm)?
The answer is change in density. Lift and thrust (drag too) are dependent on density, the higher you go, the lesser the density and so comparitively lesser the influences of lift, thrust and drag.
Thats the reason why airplanes have an operational ceiling.

Is it possible to climb Mount everest alone with no tools?
I want to make a new record of riskiest talent. but I want to know is it possible?
it is possible...but you must have a high stamina and a good supply of oxygen and probably gloves and some hot water to prevent your hands from getting frozen near the peak of the mountain. although i would advice you not to as it is very dangerous. it is ambitious, but not worth the risk to me.
