Energy Absorber
why is parrafin wax that has high density of protons a good absorber of high speed neutrons?
The bigger the ratio of initial speed of neutron to the initial speed of protons in parrafin wax, the lower the fractional energy (energy lost over initial energy) lost. Use this to help explain the answer.
The higher the density of a substance the greater its cross sectional area will be and thus the higher the probability that it will absorb particles passing through it. I hope that answers your question.

I have GM parts but do not know what they fit. I have the part #'s..?
I have several new GM parts for older vehicles but have been unable to find what they fit. All the parts are in the OEM packaging with part numbers and a brief description. Such as Accumulator, Pressurized, Energy Absorber. where can I find what this and other parts fit?
Lots of times you can just google the part numbers and find them.

will 3/4 of a sports water bottle full of jack daniels, southern comfort and kahlua get 2 people drunk?
im having an arugment with someone and i wanna see whose right.(:
There´s no way to say for sure.
It depends on the people´s age, gender, weight, how often they drink alcohol and how much... sometimes people can drink heaps and be okay, other times two or three and they are away with the fairies!
It also depends if you plan to mix the spirits with anything, and on how quickly the people drink them. JD and SC are strong, Kahlua is not so strong.
I would say, (being Scottish and we drink a lot) no, based on say me and a mate drinking that. But we have been drinking for years and are in our twenties. If me and a mate drank that quickly and straight in our teens then probably yes.
So just say you are both right

yellow, green and blue recycling bin. what should go in which so kids will remember?
I just got a yellow, blue and green separated bins for recycling. One for paper. One for aluminum and glass together (I will separate at the city place) and one for plastics. I know this is kind of stupid, but when I teach to kids about it I want to be able to reference why each category of recyclable would go with that color, but I can't really think of any way to relate it. Is there supposed to be a certain way that it goes? Thanks for your help.

I did it at my kids pre-school, once the kids recognized what went in there, instead of guessing and/or throwing it in the wrong bin, it worked well. Also, explain to them the difference when they ask, and ask they will ! remember the 3 R's Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle !

Why does an aluminum can I just opened have green spots on the inside?
I just opened a can of enchilada sauce and after I used it I saw 4 green spots on the inside of the can, nothing came off in the sauce. I tried scratching it but it is part of the can. It looks like a sideways oval with a darker middle and lighter green towards the edges. I can't find anything else like it online.
i ate the enchiladas anyway
I didn't get sick from eating it.
It may be the fungal growth may be Aspergillus which is toxic. So it will be safe to throw all the stuff. Don't consume it.
