Hey, give an advice.?
Hey guys, I am going to buy a new car today. I am condered, camry, altima, ford fusion. Also Jeep 08 Liberty with lifetime warranty. Which one would you advice me to get. Also I am buying car brand new. 0 mileage. I am 19 do you think my insurance is going to be high? How much we are talking about, I pay 250 now. Please help me with, quality, safety,performance. Just tell which would be a good car, I know Japanese are good but there warranty only 36. 000. Thank you.
I want a car? Suv, with engine 2.5 and less.
Being 19 years old, AND buying a brand-spanking new car - you will pay quite a bit for insurance - probably more than you are paying now. And - depending on where you live, crime rate in that area and your credit score, you could be looking at $400 or more (I'm willing to bet).
No matter which car you drive, check into whether or not the dealership has any Demo cars that they are selling. I bought a new Kia Optima in 2001 as a demo car. Because it was already "broken in", the selling price was $4,000 less than the sticker price. I bought the car with 3200 miles on it. It now has 50,000 and has had very few problems.
As for performance, the Camry does fairly well, as does the Altima. Not sure about the Jeep or Ford Fusion, but I've seen them on the road....wasn't impressed all that much.
For quality, I would go with either the Camry or Altima.
Ultimately, you should select a vehicle that suits your needs. The longer the warranty, the better.

Getting a new vehicle?
Im 15 almost 16 in a month and i plan to be getting a new car in about a year from now. And my dad has agreed to pay the car payments or the insurance (witch-ever one is more) and double what i have for a down payment. I plan to make around 5 grand on top of the 3 grand i have saved up now. So a max of 8000 dollars so ill have around 18,000 for a down payment. I would like to pay around 250-350 for the car payments. So I want to get a car no more then 30,000. So do you have any ideas on witch ones are good. Im these are some that I'm interested in

why is parrafin wax that has high density of protons a good absorber of high speed neutrons?
The bigger the ratio of initial speed of neutron to the initial speed of protons in parrafin wax, the lower the fractional energy (energy lost over initial energy) lost. Use this to help explain the answer.
The higher the density of a substance the greater its cross sectional area will be and thus the higher the probability that it will absorb particles passing through it. I hope that answers your question.

How I made my Hip Pack
What sould I pack in my suitcase when I am going in for surgery?
I am a mom going in for a hip replacement, I will be in the hospital for 5 days what should I pack?
I've had a few operations recently and found a pack of baby wipes really useful.
They're great for giving yourself a quick freshen up after surgery when you can't get out of bed.
Also think about what will be easy to put on for coming home from hospital, might not be fashionable but a skirt with an elasticated waistband might be a godsend!

STS remote mounted systems?
I plan on installing an STS Turbo on my 4.8 Silverado.I talked to the guy at STS and asked him a few questions.He said that I do not need headers with a STS because it is remote mounted where the muffler used to be,and it puts out a lot of air for the engine to breathe,he said with superchargers you have to have headers because it's pulley driven.He told me it would be a waste of $600 or more if I bought headers before the installation there would'nt be no more significant gains.I do however believe if I got some Xtremeflow high flow cats there would be more gains,what do you think?I here a lot of good reviews about STS turbo systems,the dynocharts on the battle of the boost proved to me the STS is the way to go more torque and useable horsepower,plus they finance kickass!! While the Squires system is a great idea and is capable of making great power, the guy you talked to has no clue what he's talking about. Regardless of whether an engine has a turbo or s/c on it, better flowing exhaust will allow for more power to be made. Its actually MORE critical with a turbo than s/c, but will benefit either system. Just wondering, what was it that convinced you to go turbo for this application instead of a positive displacement s/c (Eaton, Kenne Bell, Magnacharger, Whipple). Did you really take a good look at the dyno results? Are you only interested in a peak number, or do you really want to get up and go? A 4.8 needs all the help it can get to be fun on the street. Anyway, I have seen the STS in person, its nice, complete and works well. See if you can find someone with a vehicle like yours to go ride in.
