Is it possible for cats to get jelous?
I have 2 cats, The 1 is very close to my husband. Every morning when he comes home from work "Floyd" has to rub his cheecks on my husbands beard over and over. If he picks up the other cat 1st (Eiger) then Floyd seems to get mad. He turns around and faces ther other way and No matter what my husband does or says Floyd will not turn around and look at him. Then he seems to snub him for the rest of the day. And Floyd is a veryyyy lovey cuddly cat. I didn't realize they could get jelous but that has to be it right?
Oh, can they ever! My daughter had a baby a month ago and if I am holding him our cats think they have to be held in the same position as the baby. One of them even thinks I should "burp" him like I do the baby. He crawls up on my shoulder and cries until I pat him like I do the baby. If and when he actually burps he is going across the room.

Interlaken Switzerland Travel
With its beautifully sculpted landscape and the range of Switzerland hostels and hotels available, Interlaken has almost become synonymous with adventure tourism and winter sports.
This prestigious activity destination offers exciting things for intrepid backpackers staying in Interlaken hostels to do in abundance, whether in the snow or the water.
Climate
The climate is temperate, but varies with altitude. Switzerland has cold, cloudy, rainy/snowy winters and cool to warm, cloudy, humid summers with occasional showers.
Travel
Using the trains is easy, although the number of different kinds of trains can be a bit confusing unless you know that the schedules at a Swiss train station are color coded. The yellow sheet is for departures and the white sheet is for arrivals. Faster trains appear on both of these sheets in red, while the trains in black stop at more stations. For long trips it is often easier to use the website, as it will pick transfers for you. You need not fear transfers of five minutes or less. You will make them, provided you know exactly which platform you arrive on and which one you depart from. Many Swiss commute with a one or two minute transfer!
Skiing
The Swiss Alps are renowned for their winter skiing, and Interlaken offers facilities that ensure visitors can enjoy the piste in the utmost comfort. Skiers tend to make for the Jungfrau Mountain for the best runs which is the highest peak in the area.
However, for the less adventurous beginner, the neighboring Eiger and Monch are smaller and slightly easier to contend with. These mountain faces are just as easily accessible from Interlaken hostels as the towering Jungfrau.
Hiking
However, for travelers whose idea of an adventure holiday does not involve latching their feet to skis for the duration of their stay, the beautiful surrounds of the small city of Interlaken are also perfect for hiking.
Set between the two picturesque lakes of Brienz and Thun against an Alpine backdrop, Interlaken hostels provide backpackers with a vast and varied landscape to explore on foot, as well as excellent transport links to other places of interest such as Zurich and Geneva.
Watersports
Two huge lakes, waterfalls and streams ensure that there is little in the way of watersports that Interlaken does not offer. From whitewater rafting to relaxing tours on the lake steam boats, Interlaken is as much renowned for its watersports as its skiing.
In terms of more hands-on activities, canoeing, kayaking and sailing are by no means in short supply, with operator details likely to be available at local Swiss hostels.
Although not for the faint-hearted, brave backpackers can even take a dip in either of the two massive lakes, with swimming facilities and restaurants at the more popular hotspots.
