Hexcentric, How to thread the cord?

I have some old Hexcentrics that I would like to replace the cord. I bought some new 5.5 mm Blue Water Titan Cord to replace the 5.5 mm Spectra cord I put in 20 years ago. I remember it being hard to thread the cord in to the Hex back then, but I don't recall how I did it. Can someone tell me how to thread the 5.5mm cord through the Hexcentric holes?
I found a way that works well. It wastes an inch of the cord. I pull back the outer layer. Then cut an inch of the core off completely. Then my hand down the outer layer so that it is back where it should be (with an inch of the outer layer and nothing in it). I then take an inch of scotch tape and wrap it around the tip so it is like the end of a shoe lace. Then thread the cord through the holes on the Hexcentric. First, twisting / rotating the cord and if hangs up, pulling the cord with needle nose pliers, it goes through pretty easy.
I am a Software Engineer, and this was a Hardware problem.

If you have enough cord to waste a few inches, first make a diagonal cut for each hex (with a hot knife) to create a threadable tip. But even this requires some good pliers and patience.

When you're through, remove the tip by making a flat cut (again with a hot knife) and tie the ends together with a triple fisherman's knot.

BTW, I'm sure you're aware that nylon degrades in sunlight due to the UV component. That goes for your ropes, the new Titan cord, and probably all your other webbing. Most manufacturers recommend replacement after just 5 years (which is overly cautious i.m.o.) even if there is no visible wear & tear.
---
That would not have been my second suggestion but it is very clever. Hollow it out, tape aglet. Would you by any chance be an engineer?

TenPoint's ACUrope

Why is this?

I have asked a few differant questions to make people think. The responses were expected. They span the spectrum. What I dont understand is why, IF what I say is so wrong, or My reasoning is flawed, then dont those very people go searching like I have. I mean come on is it really that hard? Am I as stupid as those people want Me to believe or am I asking questions that really do spark a cord in people?. Questions maybe they were too afraid to ask?? I was motivated enough to go searching, and read. I did not allow anything that was told to Me to go with out research. This is supposed to be OUR country, yet...we are tricked into thinking the governement is something else other than what it is. All it takes is a brain that looks and reads, and an actual mind to figure out for yourself what is really going on. I have found that the most common responses that arent cutting Me down but agreeing with Me about what the truth is. Why is this?

The smarter you are, the more you intimidate people. I agree that most Americans are close-minded and will not accept change. They look to religion to help them guide their lives. Unfortunately, the separation of church and state has become so separated that it turned into the separation of state and education. It's sad. I know exactly what you're saying. You have really good, open-minded ideas about how to run a country, but nobody important will ever understand you. I do, though. Not that it means anything, but I understand.....

Ascension Preparation - Tips For A Better Mountain Climbing

People are increasingly adopting mountain climbing as a hobby or a sport around the world. Although, up to some extent climbing can be facilitated, this doesn't mean that the climb has become easy. Proper planning and preparation is still required for the success and safety of any climb.

Mountain climbing is an exciting sport for many. It is also a great form of exercise for your body, enhancing your health. However, as much fun and excitement it gives, climbing a mountain also demands a lot. You can hardly think of climbing a mountain just like that, unless you are familiar of it and fit yourself or you are a seasoned climber. For a person who climbs seldom or is climbing for the first time, proper preparation of the body and mind is crucial.

If you are not sure which mountain you want to climb, you can start by gathering information on various mountains around the world. Remember, your choice of mountain should be in accord with your experience, skill and strength and also financially amiable.

Know the mountain

Once you have decided the mountain, get all the information on that mountain. The rest of the preparations will be easier if you know the type of terrain, weather, wildlife, height, location etc., of the mountain. Familiarize with every nook and corner beforehand, lest it surprise you out there on the spot. Read forums or ask friends who have already climbed the mountain. It should give you a good idea of how the climb will be, and you can train, buy gears or hire tour operators accordingly.

Condition your physical condition

Preparing your body for all the physical activities that will be required during the climb is one of the most important things to do. On the way to the top of a mountain, the movement is always up, slow and draining. A tremendous amount of exercise should be followed, weeks or months ahead to gain strength and stamina. Train as much as you can, you will not get to do so when you are there. Walking, jogging, jumping, push ups, sit ups etc., are some exercises you could perform while conditioning your body during preparation. Keep also in mind that you will be carrying your own stuff right from the food, sleeping and climbing equipment and so on.

And your head too

Along with training your body, training your mind is also essential. Having said this, weak minds seldom venture in to such a sport, but even the strongest of minds could be put to dire test. You need a mental state well prepared for the adversaries that stands between you and the peak. It is recommended that you consult a doctor regarding the climb and your physical readiness from his point of view. He will have some good tips to share.

Pack well

To facilitate your climb and make it as easy as possible without weighing you down, a wise selection of gears and supplies is important. You should have all the needful but have them as light as you can. Depending on the size, height and location of the mountain, the weather conditions will also differ. On a big mountain, it could be warm at the foothill but freezing at the peak. Air pressure, oxygen availability, temperature etc., will vary as you ascend a tall and big mountain. So, pack keeping these in mind too.

Plan well

Spontaneity is fun sometimes but not in mountain climbing. You must plan out your climb well in advance. Right from booking flights to reach the location to buying gears to training your body to hiring a tour operator to assist you and your group with the climb, planning ahead will ensure the better of everything.

Having done the above mentioned successfully and correctly, you are more or less ready for the conquest. Apply the trainings and knowledge you have acquired during your preparation and research of the climb. Some of the most recommended, and also toughest but every bit rewarding, climbs around the world include mount Everest, mount Kilimanjaro, The Andes, mount Annapurna, mount Khuiten, mount Matterhorn, mount Elbrus, mount Denali and more.

4 year old dominates 12 ft climbing rope

Which ninja movie? 1975-85, takes place in old china?, tree ninjas, old man with...?

...stick, two swords. Anybody knows this?
It start with an ambush. Somebody wants to steal a sword, which is supposed to show a map if it is combined with another sword. There is a clan of tree ninjas, with claws climbing trees - fast. The old man, with a beard, who appears has a stick which he throws down a waterfall before leaping himself and when he lands he catches it, he's also fast. At the end the hero is hanging in a rope dodging/breaking arrows by spinning round and round - that's also pretty fast. It also has two evil midgets (I think).
Do you recognize the plot? Please just let me know the title of the movie so I can get a hold of it.

"Shogun wants Takamura's swords, because their blades hold the map to the Momoichi gold cache. "

In the middle of the 16th century, Hideyoshi, a power hungry warlord sets out to destroy the Momochi clan. He sends his war commander in search of the clan's hidden gold only to find that two daggers are the key to the hiding place of the treasured gold. Spanning decades, the quest for the missing daggers takes Shiranui through war and ancient tradition. (Note: this site does not show the correct cover)
