Hole Small Orange
I am doing my GCSE drama so it's small scale but i need to make the effect of fire how?
And when i say small scale i mean i can't use dry ice, well i could but it's expensive for 1 day. I was thinking of a device which lets air pass through it, it has holes in it and above the holes are orange, yellow and red crate paper so when air is pumped it wooshes up but i'm not sure it'll work
so am I
what we did in drama class, was...
get a white sheet and an orange/yellow light beneath it and then shake the sheet (gently)

Small Algorfa village with great hospitality
Algorfa, like Albatera, is a quaint village in Vega Baja set in the midst of lush countryside that is fertile and watered by the Segura River. It is set in front of a majestic mountainous backdrop with splendid views of the Mediterranean, offering more than 300 days of annual sunshine. Its moderate temperature of 19 degrees C with a low yearly rainfall makes it extremely attractive to sun lovers and sea surfers.
Overview
Algorfa village thrives on citrus farming in its fertile countryside, producing juicy oranges and lemons from its orchards which can be seen for many miles on every road.
Algorfa is such a quaint Spanish village that is alive with culture and tradition with barely 1,800 residents.
Discovery of many historical artifacts prove settlers arrived in the area as early as 3,000 BC. Neolithic human remains were discovered in 1903.
King Alfonso the Second made Algorfa part of his Valencia kingdom in 1328 when it had only 15 families. Its residents have always been very hospitable, and remain so today.
Algorfa today
The locals are a very hospitable bunch, giving visitors such a friendly and warm welcome that their great hospitality is renowned throughout the region. There are many celebrations happening at Algorfa today with a long list of festivals and fiestas, most of them happening in the summer.
The quaint village is simply set with a delightful town hall, a church and a police station. All these make the town square the main focus of any typical Spanish village. Algorfa is no different. Bars and restaurants are available although not bursting with activity all the time, maintaining the peaceful ambience of Algorfa.
There are many activities for tourists at Algorfa. A modern recreation centre offering various sports facilities like swimming, tennis, squash and mini-football is available to keep its tourists occupied. Besides, there is a Sunday market which is the crowd's favorite that offers bargains galore.
Places of interest
For those who are avid history fans, you will discover the Neo-Gothic church that was built in the 19th century situated outside Algorfa village. A short walk away is the famous Golf Club with a Par 72 for avid golfers or they can try their hand at the 18-hole championship course. This international golf course was designed by Jose Gancedo and opened in the year 2001.
Algorfa is a very suitable holiday resort for those who like the tranquility of a small Spanish setup; it is ideal for leisure activities such as walking, strolls or cycling. Beautiful sandy beaches are nearby at Guardamar del Segura in just a short 15 minute drive away.

Whats wrong with my Frigidaire upright deep freeze?
The temp has steadily been climbing over the past week. It used to be around -12- -14 degrees, now its at 25 degrees!
It seems that either the fan or the compressor is running constantly but I'm not sure which? Is it the thermostat? Compressor? Appliance pros, please point me in the right direction.
Please do not respond if you have NO experience with appliance repairs.
Sounds like another self defrost that don't. Sometimes the cooling elements within the box gradually build up ice on them and slowly lose efficiency. Empty the box, turn it off, open the door and let it defrost 6 or 8 hours. You should find a puddle inside from the ice block. clean it up and turn it on.

Sports And Events That Can Benefit From A Go Pro Camera
Caving – If you're caving you'll have a helmet and a head torch so why not add a Go Pro camera such as the helmet hero. This way you can get some excellent atmospheric footage of your exploration and some recordings of anything you find. The great thing about a Go Pro camera is that they're mostly waterproof to about 60 meters meaning you don't need to worry if you get wet or fall over.
Spelunking – Spelunking is a kind of cross between abseiling and caving where you lower yourself into the cave via a rope. This then leaves you hanging in the great open expanse which can have a great feeling of adventure and reveal some stunning views.
Football – A Go Pro camera doesn't only need to be used for extreme sports and sports involving big engines. And with the Go Pro Naked for example you can fasten a camera to yourself without the need for a helmet (which you make you look a bit ridiculous on the pitch). If you really enjoy your sport then, be it football, rugby, hockey, basketball, cricket or anything else – then why not get some great footage that will make you look like a pro when you play it back and that can also help you to critique your own technique.
Parkour – Parkour is fast becoming a phenomenon. Also known as free running, it essentially involves running across roof-tops, flipping off of tables and scaling high walls in a fashion similar to Spider-Man or Jackie Chan. This of course is one of the most visually stunning activities out there and can benefit greatly from some great camera work. Using a Go Pro camera you can get a first person angle on the action which will be great when edited into your online ‘sampler' (the video demonstration of a traceur's skills that they tend to upload to YouTube). This is also a great opportunity to get some really iconic photographs of you or a friend sailing through the air.
Martial Arts – Watching a fight back from your own eye view can be a great and exciting experience, and again martial arts provide many opportunities for those ‘cool' moments where you deliver a great roundhouse to the head or block and counter an attack.
Jet Skiing – Jet Skiing is a very fast sport that requires a high def camera to capture all the individual drops of water as well as a high frame rate to capture the scenery as it speeds by. Both scenic and fast, this can make for some exciting videos and some great still shots.
Snowboarding/Skiing – Snowboarding and skiing are two activities that feature great locations (snow covered mountain peeks to be specific) as well as high speeds and lots of exciting jumps. All of these will translate excellently to video and make for some excellent photographs.
Rock Climbing – Rock climbing is another incredibly visually impressive activity that not only involves many technical and dangerous moves but also some stunning vistas and views. Again this makes for some great photo-ops too and would look great on anyone's wall.

Ice Climbing Experience
What does it take to change your life?
Everyone wants to change their life, work out, eat better, read a book a day, learn to meditate, take up ice climbing, get their doctorate, etc. Well maybe not those things exactly, but most people aspire to be their ideal selves. But only a few people seem able to actually make significant changes in their lives. Are we really so bound by our genes and upbringing, that it would take a life-altering experience to sufficiently inspire and motivate us to change how we live? Why are we so inclined toward laziness? Why is it so hard to care enough about the things we value most?
Our individual choices, the things that we do in life to produce change, are, in the grand scheme of things, largely outside our control. There are a number of obstacles standing in the way of making realistic changes.
The first being hereditary, as you said, which determines to a large extent all our natural assets and possibilities. But more subtle than that is the social dimension. I think it seems to most people that we can learn from our environment, and that the society we're born into is more open to change than biology. This is where most people assume that change can take place. It seems plausible on its face, but the reality is that the environment is, as John Dewey said once upon a time, akin to a reflex arc on human behavior and personality. There are too many variables in the environment to take account of, or control for, in order to produce change with any accuracy. Each variable in the environment is exerting some form of influence on our psychological make-up.
The point is that the individual choices that we make are overshadowed by these larger influences. If I were forced to give a number, I'd say genetics are responsible for 60%, social conditions account for another 30%, with personal choice being left with 10%. However, that remaining 10% can be used intelligently, and when it is, it might alter the biological and social determinants. For example, genetics are not pre-set from conception, there is also an epigenetic element. Genetic expression being a process that goes on throughout our lives. Exercise comes to mind, which has been shown to not only change the physical structure of our bodies, but also to activate genetic material that had been previously dormant, and can change the distribution of hormones, growth factors, neurotransmitters, and the like. The social dimension can also be influenced by inhabiting new environments, and forming different types of relationship. While those factors are not in our power we can intelligently design the worlds that we live in. Provided, of course, that we have that kind of freedom, and the necessary capabilities to translate it into reality.
That leads to the most difficult obstacle. Internal barriers that block us from being the person we desire to become. Laziness, apathy, depression, addiction, and all the other psychological instabilities that degrade our autonomy. This is perhaps the most promising area that we can make changes in. Since these internal obstacles are to some extent within our sphere of influence we can initiate certain remedial practices to overcome them. Laziness can be solved through incentivization, creating a scheme of rewards, having people in our lives that care enough about us to keep us on track. Most individual obstacles have solutions. Their elimination would have to be the first step in any serious attempt to change oneself. By stripping these away from our habitual way of acting in the world, we can express our ideal self more fully. And more than that, we can begin to make realistic progress in overcoming our biological and social limitations. But none of this is easy. It requires a great deal of insight into our own nature, the conditions of society, and our ultimate ends as human beings.

what would be a good mountain to climb?
me and my cousins want to go mountain climbing this summer. So what would be a good mountain for us to climb?
-No rock or ice climbing preferable
-In continental U.S.
We are all in very good shape and my uncle is an experienced mountain climber
You left out a lot of information, especially where you are located. Start with the first hill you see and go up there. If you like to keep score, you could locate the highest points in every county in your state. Of course in the Rocky Mountain and West coast states that can be a pretty big deal. I liked one poster's answer about a list of fourteen thousanders. That is definitely high enough to know you did something, but is probably a bit too much for a beginner. Go with your experienced uncle, that is probably the best plan. I am planning to summit all 9 of Idaho's 12,000 foot peaks over the next couple years. You don't have to go that big to have a good time, though, and forget about trying to impress people with your height. Many smaller mountains in the national forests have trails to the top and give you just as good views and experiences. I tried to summit an 8200 foot mountain on Christmas day, only got to 6500 feet. Snowshoeing through 2 feet of powder was a bit too much for a single weekend. I'm usually very end-oriented, but this time realized the process was as good as the summit. Start modest and work your way up in experience and height. Keep track of the equipment and supplies you use, and what you wound up taking but did not use.
