Rock Climbing Guide
I want to work in something I enjoy. Will you suggest a business for me dealing with travel?
I am 31, having worked over the years in boring office jobs. I've waited tables, tried retail, and even had a brief time as a coordinator. My passion has always been with travel. I love to explore, to go on any adventure. I love to get lost in the world. I enjoy being in nature, recently having gone mountaineering in Nepal. I enjoy rock climbing, but most of all travel. I have even contacted adventure travel companies to be a guide. Yet, they say that I don't have enough experience in the country, or need to be from the country. I have studied languages since I was little. Spanish is still good. Can anyone suggest a way to make money and do it with travel, eg. travel guide.
Why don't you start of as a specialised travel agent or selling the tours. Then once you become familiar with a particular companies tours you will be able to approach them again for a job.

Boy Scout High Adventure - Caving/Spelunking in Virginia/West Virginia?
I am planning a Boy Scout high adventure and am looking for a good caving/spelunking and rock climbing activity. Anybody know of any good guided caving adventures out there? We are in the Norther Virginia area and could travel up to 4 hours. All the boys are between the ages of 16 and 18. Thanks!
Lurray Caverns is a little too commercial. The guys are looking for something that is a little more rugged and doesn't have hand rails and lights.
Butler Cave may be a more rugged and less commercial experience that your boys would enjoy. I know they've run some Scout expeditions in there.

There are at least two schools of thought about this type of experience.
Some schools, such as various Native American traditions, will assign various meanings to different images: wolf, eagle, etc.
Other schools, such as Zen Buddhism, will suggest that all images, thoughts, ideas, and feelings even are simply "mind stuff." They are things that float through the mind as you sit and bring awareness to your inner world.
Since in these schools meditation is all about awareness, about the witness, about the process of watching itself and being present to what is, whatever it is, no meaning is attached to the images. One simply watches: "aha, a wolf has appeared. Now it is gone. Now my mind is trying to figure out what this means. Is it good? Is it bad?" And so forth.
In Zen, one is simply concerned with noticing whatsoever is happening inside, because it is the *awareness* that is significant. The awareness brings light into one's life, brings godliness into one's life, brings delight.
