Needles Sequoia
DOes anyone have any experience with, or have a reference for the care of a sequoia tree?
I have a small sequoia tree in a pot that I have been growing since November of 2006. Lately it has appeared to have a hint of browning at the end of a couple of the needles. It is approx 2 inches tall. I know that the roots grow outward and it is not practical to think that I can keep this as a garden tree. Therefore, I am thinking of converting this into a bonsai. I am looking for some information regarding the care of this seedling until the appropriate time to go bonsai with it (whenever it is appropriate). Any information / experience / or references regarding these trees and / or bonsai would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!
Redwood Sequoia trees grow to be 90 feet tall. Giant Sequoia trees grow to be 325 feet tall.
If this is your FIRST experience at growing a bonsai plant, you have probably picked the MOST CHALLENGING plant!!!
Growing trees as bonsai means that you will REGULARLY trim the roots and the limbs to maintain the small size.
If you do not have a climate that will support a Sequoia, I suggest that you pitch it (hard for me to say!!)

How to warm up Toyota Sequoia properly?
the car I'm talking about is a Sequoia (limited) which has a big V8 5.7 liter engine. I live in a hot climate usually 38-45 degrees Celsius. After starting the engine while pressing on the brake pedal its like the car does not let me shift to drive .The gear shifter is hard so i have to warm up the engine before because usually the needle is under the meter **so what is the best way in warming up the engine oil
1) revving the engine slowly or
2) just leave it idle until the needle comes up and then shift to Drive
or if you have another suggestion
change the transmission fluid and see what happens, the issue is with the transmission not the engine, as the engine pumps the fluid around it warms up.
also could just be caused by low transmission fluid level
