Is it safe to tap harness wires in cars?
So I bought an HID Kit but the stock harness (Nissan Altima) has a female plug and my HID kit did not come with a male plug... So i just have two disconnects lying around... Is it safe to cut those wires and tap the two harness wires together using a Radio Shack Wire Tap item (or similar)??
Alright, if you answer no, please give me "some" amount of detail.
You can tap the harness with your finger all day long, no harm.
If you are talking about the "white" lights, I would add a quick disconnect instead of splicing.
The disconnects that I am thinking of have a heavy rubber/plactic "shroud" over the metal connections.
Also, take your time and do it right, Use heat shrink to cover your connection point.
I have done this with no problems.

Where can I get Kit & Harness for 2008 Hyundai accent?
I've been checking all the stores and everyone says they don't have it. Now I'm wondering if the kit & harness are the same as in the 2007 model and the computer system is not updated yet.
