Wikipedia is a free, multilingual encyclopedia project supported by the non-profit Wikimedia Foundation. Its name is a portmanteau of the words wiki (a technology for creating collaborative websites, from the Hawaiian word wiki, meaning 'quick') and encyclopedia. Wikipedia's 13 million articles (2.9 million in the English Wikipedia) have been written collaboratively by volunteers around the world, and almost all of its articles can be edited by anyone who can access the Wikipedia website. Launched in January 2001 by Jimmy Wales and Larry Sanger, it is currently the most popular general reference work on the Internet.

Critics of Wikipedia accuse it of systemic bias and inconsistencies, and target its policy of favoring consensus over credentials in its editorial process. Wikipedia's reliability and accuracy are also an issue. Other criticisms are centered on its susceptibility to vandalism and the addition of spurious or unverified information, though scholarly work suggests that vandalism is generally short-lived.

Jonathan Dee, of The New York Times, and Andrew Lih, in the 5th International Symposium on Online Journalism,[18] have cited the importance of Wikipedia not only as an encyclopedic reference but also as a frequently-updated news resource.

When Time magazine recognized You as its Person of the Year for 2006, acknowledging the accelerating success of online collaboration and interaction by millions of users around the world, it cited Wikipedia as one of three examples of Web 2.0 services, along with YouTube and MySpace.

The impressive Dachstein Mountain Range is located in central Austria. Beyond the limestone rock of the Dachstein is a fascinating world that is invisible from the outside, the Dachstein Caves. Those who discovered the first of these caves named it the Mammoth Cave due to its large dimensions that have a total length of sixty kilometres. Research that is currently taking place within the heart of the mountain has not yet been completed thus it is impossible to confirm the true total length of its various passageways. The foaming water that flows in front of the Koppenbrüller Cave comes from a spring deep within its interior. It was once used as a hiding place and features in several colourful myths and legends. Due to its network of caves the Dachstein Mountains are far more than just the typical karst covered mountains of the Austrian Alps. Its cave system continues to be a beautiful enigma. Mormon Thunder Cave 1932 Radio World America Book Review

So Evangelicals, why do you need to look forward to the world ending in a catastrophe?

I mean there is not much sense in it really, do you think a loving God would send all unbelievers to hell for an ETERNITY? I mean in my opinion that is insane... please prove me wrong. Take the book of revelation for example... it has a lot of seriously funny stuff in there (locusts with crowns? bottomless pit? etc). At the time when this book was written, nobody new the effects of magic mushrooms on the brain (it is an hallucinogen) or the effects of the lack of oxygen at great heights or even the effects that gas could have on your brain in caves. This book of revelation seems almost impossible but if you have a better explanation please forward it to me.
ooohh where is all the answers I wonder :S
Deke, I guess your right.. no evangelicals are answering and therefore they have nothing to say... they know that their religion is a lie.

You're asking illogical people for a logical answer to an illogical myth.

Good luck.

What a fun interview! And a fun question.Hmm…It’s hard to choose between going back in time and living in a fantasy world for awhile, so I’ll choose both! Going back in time, I’d do two things: first, go back 10 years when both my parents were still alive. Then I’d head to the 1400s to find out what happened to the Incas at Machu Picchu. For a fantasy world, I think I’d go into Jasper Fford’s Book World from the Thursday Next series. Since she can enter ANY book, I could just wander around fantasy worlds forever!
