Adult Indoor Rock
Ideas for an awesome party?
Kay, I'm planning my 18th birthday and I need some good ideas. I'm planning on a pretty big party, than a smaller exclusive thing with like 4-5 friends. I need ideas for both. Rents will be at the first big party, but the second one is adult free. Thank God. I want something original cause everyone is doing the usual indoor food and lame games, lots of talking and that's about it. And for the smaller one, I'm thinking starting off at the mall than heading to a movie, than over to my bf's house, cause her rents will be away and we can throw a party there. What are some things I should do to honor turning 18? I'm leaving a couple weeks later for a really strict conservative college, so I want to get in my fun now. Once I'm there curfew is 11 pm, no drinking, no smoking, no drugs, no party's. Can't even listen to rock music. Headphones are banned for God's sake. Rants over.

If you want awesome party ideas then check this site out, they have many inflatables that make awesome parties for all ages, you could try bungee run hire, gladiator duel hire or surf simulator hire, all these items are great ideas for teenagers parties.

| | Adult $22.99 Tokyo Jihen was, for all intents and purposes, the next step in the J-pop evolution. It's not hard to see where the band comes from -- there's a legion of girly-sounding Japanese female vocalists, often backed by a whole band and churning out power pop and soft rock hits, sometimes more loud (High and Mighty Color), sometimes quite relaxed (Remioromen). On Adult, Tokyo Jihen pretend to do something in the same vein, but they actually replace the music part with jazz-rock, complete with little stylistic detours that cover a considerable territory -- although this is not to say they are strangers to the pop sound. Still, the piano-heavy songs with their busy rhythm section give off a much more, well, adult vibe than Yui or Shimokawa Mikuni. Tokyo Jihen don't wholly shed their pop heritage -- "Superstar" still sounds like a typical J-pop chart-topper (is that irony?), and in a couple of places the band comes close to Muzak, but Muzak in small quantities is usually just called "a ballad", and anyway, the techno/hard rock bit tacked at the end of "Keshou Naoshi," right over the brass section, is one of the best moments of the album. Also, there's quite a variety of tracks that remind of vocalist Shiina Ringo's more experimental solo work, such as the intense "Yukiguni," not to mention the jazzy fool-around moments ("Kabuki"). At the end of the day, Adult is still a pop album above and before anything else, but the band's attempts to diversify the sound ensure that will hold your interest for many more listens than the average J-pop record. ~ Alexey Eremenko |

Business idea: will it work?
My degree is in personal training and I would really love to start my own business but I need to know if people will go for it. I want to start a boot camp but have it indoor...since the winters here are so cold there is no way you could keep it going outside. I would try to bring the outdoors in by having a turf field, park benches, large fake trees, monkey bars, flower boxes, rope climb, rock wall,etc. All very durable so you are able to jump on, climb up, and hang on. The catch is this would be for adults and possibly even kids... of all ability levels. Do you think you would join a gym that would have a boot camp like that? Would you enjoy jumping and climbing around all for a good workout?
Surely I'll join it, since where I live there are no normal gyms either.
